Over the years this small town has grown into a bustling city. The once quaint place is surrounded by skyscrapers, and many corporations now make their home here. It is still the place that Professor Elm runs the laboratory, and helps trainers, coordinators, and breeders recieve their starters. Though his lab assistants do much of the work now...

Long ago this route was travelled through thick patches of grass, but over time a path has been formed were thousands of young feet have walked. No worries, there are still many Poke'mon on this route, perfect for the beginning trainer.

| Ghost Town--Cherrygrove
Just as some cities have grown, some have faded into nothing. The city of Cherrygrove is little more than a few empty homes, and a single still-running Poke'mon center. They say those empty houses are filled with ghosts...and maybe even some ghost-types, if you so dare to take a peek.

A winding road that leads to Route 31. It's a Poke'mon rich place, and the road also has many trainers.

A very short route that runs East to West, heading for Violet City. There is a small pond nearby that you could fish at if you wanted.

This city is pretty mellow. The people here are friendly, and willing to help a passerby out if they get lost. At the very heart is the Sprout Tower, and the first gym is also stationed in this place. The leader here uses flying type Pokemon.

The rough terrain of this route has it's worn path weaving alongside the coast. A variety of Poke'mon live here.

Ah caves. Absolutely filled with Poke'mon, and crazy looking mountain men. What's more to love? There have been an odd amount of Slowpoke in this place, possibly due to the collapse of the Slowpoke Well.

Another rather short route, going to the west to Azalea Town. There are only a few Poke'mon here, but some are quite rare.

Ah yes, this town is still rather small. It's not nearly as bustling as a trainer happy town. Though there is a gym leader here...

| Ilex Forest
Over the years this place has become almost untraversable. You need a guide anymore to get through it, so you'll have to stop at the Information Center and wait for one. They're free, but you have go at the pace of the group you are with. Some brave soul COULD try and go through it alone, but the chances of getting lost are high.

| Goldenrod City (4 sub-boards)
By far the largest city in all of Johto. It has swallowed what used to be known as Route 34 as it expanded in size. There is little you can't do here...a theatre district, lovely restaraunts, the first contest hall, even a gym! However there are dark things in cities like this...crime is fairly rampant here, and there are even rumors that the Team Rocket HQ are near here...

This once simple road has become marked with sinkholes and boggy terrain. The swampland here is foul, making this an ideal place for poison type Poke'mon.

A small wooded area that is home to several Poke'mon. There is a mansion hidden within the trees, and the owner of the house loves watching contest battles and partaking in them himself.

| Ecruteak Ruins
WARNING! Entering this area is something you do at your own risk trainers! The city is nothing of what it used to be. Destroyed buildings, the stench of smoke ever present on the wind here...but there's also the sickening smell of decay. The city of Ecruteak has been destroyed, and there are little more than vicious wild Pokemon and strange hybrids living here. Coming to this place is practically suicide, and nearly impossible since the police from the other cities have set up a barricade on the roads. It also means that the bus no longer runs between Olivine or Mahogany from Goldenrod any longer.

A group of well worn paths leading to the Olivine City by the sea. It is plentiful in variety of Poke'mon, and there is even an old farm you can take a look at if you like.

A sea-side city with a towering, but dangerously old, lighthouse. They say there is quite a few electric type Poke'mon inside, but you'd have to sneak in...There is a gym in this town.

| Route 40
A beautiful beach that, if you walk along it, will take you to the docks that house the ferries for the ride to Cianwood City. If you have a Poke'mon that is large enouhg to carry you in the water you COULD try that, but it's highly unrecommended. Also, if you are willing you may stop at the Whirl Islands on the way.

A group of islands surrounded by thick whirlpools. If you can figure out a way around them then perhaps you can get to the islands and explore...if not you'll just have to move on to Cianwood.

| Cianwood Village
The city has dwindled quite a bit in size, probably because of it's difficult location. It's surrounded by sheer cliffs. There is a Gym and a Contest Hall here, though the Contest Hall is ridiculously situated near the top of the sheer cliffside, and it's incredibly difficult to reach it...

| Mt. Mortar
After returning to Ecruteak you'll head in the opposite direction and go through this cave. Once there used to be a route, the forty-second, running through this area which was easy to traverse. However floodng makes the area nearly impossible to get through. Instead you have to go through the water-cave, and hope that you don't get lost...or fall in one of the deep pools.

It's a wonder why this little place is still going...there's only two or three people living here, including the leader of it's gym.

A grassy route leading up to the Lake of Rage. It's got a few Poke'mon living in the grasses here.

A lake that is filled with Magikarp and little else. Though they say there are Gyarados toward the very bottom of the lake, it's never a good idea to try and stir them up though. A Contest Hall sits near the edge of this lake.

A cave with frigid temperatures. There are a few ice-type Poke'mon living here. Watch your step, the floor is made of slippery ice. The cave now opens up on the other side and leads straight to Blackthorn City.

It's cold here year round, but they celebrate the Solstice with a special ball that literally every person in Johto is allowed to go to...

The best of the best. This trainer is no light weight. It'll be a tough six-on-six Poke'mon battle, but you are allowed to heal your Poke'mon before engaging in battle. Also, defeating the champion means that you get to take their place...

Surrounding the elaborate building that houses the Elite Four and the current Champion is a small city. There are all manner of skyscrapers, and other buildings here. The housing district is made only of elaborate homes, it is not cheap to live in a City of Dreams. Challenging trainers and their friends are allowed to stay in hotels free as long as they have eight badges with them.

The largest hotel in all of Johto is here. The building is massive, taking up a huge chunk of the small island that the Grand Festival is hosted at. Any coordinators in the competition may stay here for free.

| The Muse
If you have a career in entertainment, this is the place you want to end up. Arguably the most famous of entertainment halls in the Pokemon world, only the best of the best ever play here. If you get the chance to perform here, you can sign the wall backstage. This building is open all year round, and hosts a variety of different concerts and the like.

| Common Ground |
| Battleground
An easy to access area, no matter where a trainer may be or what they may be doing, they can always have a battle here. This is a good place to train your Pokemon, and get to roleplay with other members. Liquid-time is allowed here.

A place where trainers can trade items or Pokemon. You cannot force people to return traded Pokemon, but please take good care of them if you do trade them.
